Hello Peace Makers,

Yes! You heard that right. We just boarded our plane to visit our center in Uganda and to do some work in our community.

It will take us about 18hrs and 40 minutes to get there (Please share some movie, TV shows, Books, or podcast recs!) and we will be 7 hours ahead of East Coast time.

When I say it takes a village to support a comunity, I truly mean it!

We are still working on improving the roof, so please consider donating to our efforts to restore it!

Celebrations:

We are celebrating this trip to Uganda this week. Can’t wait to share some great videos and photos with you all.

Also, we are excited to share that we will be having a Town Hall soon (third week of October TBD) on the Vision & Plan for our Center moving forward! Please join us.

Current Projects:

Uganda is currently in one of its most rainy seasons (September-December). With that comes urgent renovations to the roof.

The building roof has a massive hole, and when it rains, water floods into the building. The kids’ bedding and rooms are being drenched, and a few have caught malaria due to these unsafe conditions.

As you can imagine, our primary focus is raising enough money to secure the roof ASAP.

Campaign Goal:

Our target goal to secure the roof is $7,000.

This will give the kids a brand-new roof, and we can replace any bedding and rooms that were flooded.
