Hello Peace Makers,

I am speechless.

What me and your fellow Peace Maker friends just experience in Uganda will take weeks to really unpack.

We ate together, shared stories of triumph, built with one another, spent time teaching and educating and even played some soccer (yes I am now a soccer fan!)

Next week, I want to share with you all about our trip and our vision moving forward with the Centers we have built.

Last week, we sent out a poll and looks like best day is Oct 24th.

I will send the invite and link next week but we encourage you to join us!

Current Projects:

Uganda is currently in one of its most rainy seasons (September-December). With that comes urgent renovations to the roof.

The building roof has a massive hole, and when it rains, water floods into the building. The kids’ bedding and rooms are being drenched, and a few have caught malaria due to these unsafe conditions.

As you can imagine, our primary focus is raising enough money to secure the roof ASAP.

Campaign Goal:

Our target goal to secure the roof is $7,000.

This will give the kids a brand-new roof, and we can replace any bedding and rooms that were flooded.
