Thanksgiving Meals for the Kids
Peace Makers, Build A Better Us, Orphanage
Hello Peace Makers,
Happy Thanksgiving Week (I can smell the smoked turkey from here).
As you know, Thanksgiving is a great day for celebrating family, sharing a word of gratitude for loved ones, and enjoying some of the best eats of the year!
While we all can sometimes take these massive amounts of food for granted (not including my leftover eaters, of course), there are people around the world who do not get to experience this abundance.
Each year at our Community Center in Uganda, we try to supply our kids with some great meals in celebration of Thanksgiving.
As you can imagine, 28 kids are a lot of mouths to feed. It’s through support from people like you that we can continuously support our center, and we truly appreciate you.
If possible, please consider donating to our Center for the Holidays to help provide a meal for our kids and assist with the repair of the roof!

Thank you so much—it truly means the world to the kids and us!
Let us know what your favorite Thanksgiving meal is! We would love to hear.
Current Projects:
Uganda is currently in one of its most rainy seasons (September-December). With that comes urgent renovations to the roof.
The building roof has a massive hole, and when it rains, water floods into the building. The kids’ bedding and rooms are being drenched, and a few have caught malaria due to these unsafe conditions.
Footage here:
As you can imagine, our primary focus is raising enough money to secure the roof ASAP.
Campaign Goal:
Our target goal to secure the roof is $7,000.
This will give the kids a brand-new roof, and we can replace any bedding and rooms that were flooded.
If you find it in your heart, please consider donating to: https://t.co/H8cPJy5fmv
Every dollar helps, and it truly means the world to us to protect these kids!
Our mission is to empower the least of these to become the change-makers of society.
Thank you for being a better you so we can be a better us!
